Drawing is the foundation of my practice. Through sustained observation and process-led making, I explore relationships with plant life, using charcoal, collage, pastel and expanded drawing to create works that unfold through time, repetition and attentive looking. For me, drawing becomes a form of conversation, allowing the work to emerge through a collaborative process between artist, material and plant life.
